Use the tool IPConfig to establish contact between the engineering station and the controller and change the IP address.Do not use IPConf

Always close IPConfig when you are done with it, because IPConfig is using the tool port (Com4) and the rest of the CPU:s channel w

10、ownloading14.6.3 The HW configuration tool14.6.4 Preparation of download in HW ConfigurationMake sure you configure the hardware structure correct before you make a download.14.6.4.1 Ethernet address setting in CPUSet correct IP addresses on the Ethernet channels. Make sure it is the same addresses
11、as you used when you made the IPConfig. Right-click on the 1 Ethernet icon and select Editor. Change the IP address from 172.16.0.0 to correct address, dont forget to change the IP subnet mask. Same procedure for the second Ethernet channel.14.6.4.2 Set System IdentityThe system identity is the same
12、 IP address as on CN1 on the AC800M.14.6.5 Download Project and Go OnlineSelect (Tools Download Project and Go Online) from the menu of the Project Explorer to download the project.14.6.5.1 ApplicationsWhen you go to Online via the (ToolsDownload Project and Go Online) a version analysis of the appl
13、ications is made. The analysis results are used to determine if and how applications shall be updated to new versions in the controllers. If you have made changes to one or several applications in Offline mode the version analysis detects it. You can then, when selecting (ToolsDownload Project and G
14、o Online), decide how to restart the changed applications. Independent of how you restart the applications, the changed application parts are downloaded to the controllers. The controller will stop the applications and restart with the new and changed application. 14.6.5.2 RestartThe influence of Wa
15、rm restart and Cold restart on Non Retain, Retain and Cold Retain Variables.14.6.5.2.1 Warm Restart At a Warm Restart, variables with the attribute retain or coldretain are stored before restart. Variables without these attributes are given their base value or initial value.14.6.5.2.2 Cold RestartAt
16、 a Cold Restart, variables without the attribute coldretain lose their values. Instead, they are given their initial value or base value. Variables specified using the attribute coldretain keep their values. Cold restart is disabled if the application is changed and Apply Changes is set to No in the
17、 Online with download dialog box.14.6.5.2.3 Cold Restart AllThe Cold restart All command affects all applications displayed in the list, not only the selected application. By pressing the button, the start mode is set to cold for all applications.14.6.5.3 Apply ChangesThe command Apply Changes shows
18、 the current settings for the selected application. There are two buttons - Yes and No. If it is possible to change the setting, the buttons are enabled, otherwise disabled. If the user changes this setting, it immediately affects the setting in the list and the Remarks column is updated if needed.
19、The Apply Changes section and buttons are not visible if the user has chosen Simulate or Online without Download. For each changed application in the project the user can decide to apply the changes in the application or not to apply them. For some changes, for example for tasks and I/O connections,
20、 there is a dependency between the application and the controller configuration. For such cases a choice in one of the sections (Applications or Controller Configurations) may set the choice in the other section automatically. This dependency cannot be overridden.14.6.5.4 InformationThe Application

22、ly Changes The command Apply Changes shows the current settings for the selected application. There are two buttons - Yes and No. If it is possible to change the setting, the buttons are enabled, otherwise disabled. If the user changes this setting, it immediately affects the setting in the list and
23、 the Remarks column is updated if needed. The Apply Changes section and buttons are not visible if the user has chosen Simulate or Online without Download.
