Book IStarter Unit 1 Good morning! 一 教材分析Go for it!是以英语课程标准为依据,以培养学生的英语语言综合运用能力为目标,每个单元只有一个总体的教学内容安排,既没有具体的课时数安排,也没有分课时的教学内容安排。学生用书每个单元包括Section A, Section B 和 Self Check三个部分。Section A是基本语言内容,并为目标句型提供分步示例和指导性练习;Section B是知识的扩展和综合的语言运用,能够使学生对已经学过的目标句型进行自如的运用;Self Check是

    2、让学生自我检测本单元所学的语言知识,并对本单元的语言目标有较为明确的认识。二 教学设计思路Starter Unit 1 是Go for it!预备篇三个单元的第一单元,是为初学者准备的入门单元,关键是做好一个衔接工作,根据学生的认知特点和心理特点,通过多样化的、趣味性的学习活动,让同学们培养起对英语学习的兴趣和自信。它的主要内容为26个字母和最基本的英语日常用语。本单元的教学内容为:1 学习Aa - Hh八个字母。2 学习八个人名。Alice, Bob, Cindy, Dale, Eric, Frank, Grace, Helen3 学习hi/hello/good/morning/aftern

    3、oon/evening/fine/thanks/OK.4 学习不同时间见面时的问候语及其回答:Hello!/ Good morning!/ Good afternoon!/ Good evening! - How are you? - Im fine, thanks. How are you? - Im OK.教学重点:会读会写Aa - Hh八个字母。学会简单的问候语及应答:Hello! Good morning. Good afternoon. Good evening.- How are you? - Im fine, thanks. How are you? - Im OK.教学难点:

    4、课本中英语人名的学习和大、小写字母的学习及书写。整个单元的内容,可分配在8个课时中完成。第一课时:完成 1a, 1b, 1c, 第二课时;完成 2a, 2b,2c, 2d, 2e第三课时:复习1a-2e第四课时:完成 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d第五课时:完成4a, 4b, 4c , 4d第六课时:复习3a-4d第七课时:测试题一第八课时:测试题二三 教学目标A. 语言知识目标1 词汇: Letters Aa - Hh 八个人名 Alice, Bob, Cindy, Dale, Eric, Frank, Grace, Helen Good,morning,hi,hello,afternoon,

Good morning!Difficulties: 掌握八个人名。Teaching procedures:Step1. Warming-up1. Show a name card with an English name on it, then point to the name card a

    7、nd have an introduction.2. Greet to the whole class using hi,hello and help them to say, Hello, Good morning, Step2. Play a game.Get ready for a list of English names for boys and girls.Play the game like this:Say a letter, for example C, then let the Ss tell the letters which letter is before or af

    8、ter C. The one who says B, D first is the winner. The winner can get a chance to choose an English name first or he can give the chance to his friend.Step3. Presentation.Show a picture of a girl and give the name under the picture, teach Alice. Then teach the other seven names in the same way.Step4.

    9、PracticeShow the pictures of these eight children as quickly as possible. Let the Ss tell the names of these children. ( The winner can have a chance to choose an English name.) Step5. Presentation.Show a picture with Eric, let Ss guess what Eric wants to say to us. The answer is : Hello! or Good mo

    10、rning. Then help them to say: Hello, Eric! or Good morning, Eric. Step6. Work on 1b.Play the recorder for the first time, Ss only listen. Play the recorder second time. Ss repeat after it. Step7. Work on 1c.1.Ss practice the conversations in pairs. T moves around the classroom when Ss are practicing

    11、.2.Give them some help if needed.3.Ask Ss to practice greeting each other. They can use their Chinese names if they wish. 4.Encourage them to use their English names if they can. Ask them to practice using all the different greetings taught in Activity 1a.HomeworkMake a name card like the teachers b

Step2.PresentationShow different letters on the slide picture and know if they can read them. First s

(Work on 2a2d)1.Listen the eight letters by the tape,and repeat them.2.Put all the big letters in order. .Find the big letters for these small letters. 3.Listen and number the letters they hear. 4.Teach them how to write these big and sm
