Unit9 I like music that I can dance to.

Step 1 Rivision
(1) Take out of a MP3 and say I like it because I like listen to the music. Do you like music?
(2) Say that my favourite singer is Liu Ruoying . I will sing a song for the students.
Then ask one of the students “What’s your favourite singer?
Can you sing a song of your favourite singers?
”
这一部分设计主要为了引起学生的兴趣和注意力,以学生生活中的真实人物和事情拉近语言知识和学生之间的距离。
让学生现场唱一首歌,可以活跃课堂气氛。
学生就很容易放轻松,更快的接受新知识。
Step 2 Presentation
(1) Play a game and make a competition。
活动和竞赛使学生积极参与到课堂教学中,在情绪高涨的情绪下学的知识会更加牢固。
(2) Take 2 cups One is big and the other is small. Ask one student which do you prefer?
And explain the word prefer. Say “I prefer the cup that is big.” 利用情境教授单词,使学生自然而然的学会单词及用法。
(3) Ask them to make sentences with “I like….that is big” and “ I like…that are friendly.”
最初教授学生定语从句如果从语法角度入手,会使学生丧失学习的兴趣。
因此采用仿照模仿造句的方法入手,学生很开心的造句,有些学生造出 “ I like apple that is big. I like TV that is big. I like tigers that are friendly.”的句子,他们在不知不觉间学会了使用定语从句, 为进一步学习打下基础。
(4) Explain the diffenences between “I like the cup that is big.” And “ I like the big cup.” (5) Explain the diffenences between 定语and定语从句, “that” and “who”, 从句中谓语的单复数由先行词决定。
让学生自己发现问题的所在,通过学生自己的观察和对比,使他们自己发现两者的区别和使用上的差异。
总结规律,培养他们的观察能力和自学能力。
Step 3 Practice
(1)Do the practice on the small blackboard.

此处的练习设计由简到繁,开始的替换练习加深学生对定语及定语从句的理解。
(2)Listen to 4 different kinks of music .
The first one :
it is gentle. It has great lyrics.
The second one :
It is loud . I can sing along with it.
The third one :
I can dance to it. It is too loud.
The fourth one:
It is not too loud. It is popular.
此部分的展示最能引起学生的共鸣和喜欢。
我们可以选择学生耳熟能详的歌曲并让学生猜歌名和歌手,并使学生描述这首的特点,可以各抒己见。
为进行下一步的两句合一句的练习准备更多的素材。
(3)Make sentences
like:
I love /like/ prefer music that…………
Read them and practice.
此处可以采用单人练习。
也可以随机选择一组问答,
使学生利用定语从句来表达自己的喜好。
(4)Work in pairs to make similar music like 1c。

(5)Listen to the tape and finish 1b. Listen to the tape for twice, and tick the right
