InacasestudypublishedThursday,researchersexplainedthediscoverycouldhelpguidenewtreatmentsforarangeofconditions,frompost-operativepaintoanxiety.ThestudysaidthatCameron'smotheranddaughterappeartoperceivepainnormally.However,herlatefatherhadlittleneedforpainkillers,andhersonreportedhavingsomedegreeofpaininsensitivity,butnottothesameextentasher.
