OpenMinds’peer-to-peereducationtechniquesaremoreimportantthanever.TheAmericanCollegeHealthAssociation’s2019NationalCollegeHealthAssessmentfoundthat45percentofstudentsreportedfeelingsodepressedintheprevious12monthsthatitwasdifficulttofunction;66percentfeltdeepanxiety;and13percentseriouslyconsideredsuicide—theactofkillingoneself.
