1General
1.1Purpose
Thiscodeisatechnicalspecificationconstitutedfortheapplicationofdistributedcontrolsystem(hereinafterreferredtoasDCS)inchemicalautomationengineeringdesigntohelpthedesignerstoadoptDCScorrectlyandreasonablyandfullyrealizethesuperiority,practicabilityandreliabilityofDCS.
1.2Scopeofapplication
ThiscodeappliestothefollowingworkingscopeintheDCSengineeringdesign:
1.2.1Investigatetheexecutiveplanofprocessmonitoringsystem;
1.2.2WorkoutthepreliminaryconfigurationofDCShardwaresystem;
1.2.3CompiletheDCStechnicalspecification;
1.2.4AssessthequotationforDCS;
1.2.5SubmittheexternaldesignconditionsofDCSinstallationandoperation;
1.2.6Completethetechnicaldocumentsrequiredbywork,suchasDCSapplicationconfiguration.

2DCSapplicationprinciple
ThefollowingprinciplesshallbetakenintocomprehensiveconsiderationintherespectofnecessityandfeasibilityofDCSapplicationbeforetheadoptionofDCSisdetermined.
2.1Necessity
2.1.1Intheeventoflongprocessflowandmanydetectionandcontrolcircuits,thefeaturesofDCSsuchasbigcapacityandstrongfunctioncanbefullyutilizedthroughapplication.
2.1.2Intheeventofcomplexprocesscontrolplan,manyseniorcontrolsystemsandhighsecurityandreliabilityrequirements,theapplicationofconventionalanaloginstrumentscanhardlymeetthetechnicaloperationrequirements.
2.1.3Intheeventofhighrequirementsforoperationmanagementfunctions,suchasprintingofoperationandcross-limitalarmdataaswellasexecutionofcostaccountingandtechnicaleconomicindexanalysisreportforms.
2.1.4TheadoptionofDCScanhelptoimproveproductionefficiencyandproductquality.
2.2Feasibility
2.2.1SophisticatedproductiontechnologyandrichdesignexperiencewillhelpDCStocomeintooperation.
2.2.2TheenduserofDCShasastrongtechnicalforceandcertainoperation,maintenanceandmanagementcapabilities.
2.2.3Incomparisonwithconventionalanaloginstruments,thetechnicaleconomicindexoftheinvestmentforDCSisreasonable.Theenduserhastheabilitytoinvestfunds.
3BasicfunctionsofDCS
DCShasavarietyoffunctions.Thereasonableandeffectiveimplementationofthefollowingfunctionsshallbeconsideredinthefirstplaceduringdesignselectionandsystemconfiguration.
3.1Processcontrolfunction
Inengineeringdesign,suchseniorcontrolfunctionsascascade,ratio,feedforward,overrideandpuredelaytimecompensationcanbeappliedaccordingtotheactualrequirementsofprocessmonitoringinadditiontothebasicfeedbackcontrolfunctionandsequentialcontrolfunction.Moreover,anintegratedcontrolarithmeticformulacanbeestablishedwithvariousarithmeticunitstomeetmorecomplicatedcontrolrequirements.
3.2Operatingfunction
Commonoperationstationinwhichonlykeyboardisusedtorealizeproductionprocessoperationortheoperationstationinwhichkeyboard,ball(mouse)or(and)touchscreenareusedtorealizeproductionprocessoperationcanbeadoptedaccordingtotheoperationrequirementsandtheoperationmodeofthevariousDCSs.
3.3Displayfunction
Suchframesasgroupingdisplay,trenddisplayanddynamicprocessdisplayarearrangedwithreasonontheprincipleoffacilitatingobservationandoperationbasedongeneralpicturedisplay,groupingdisplay,singlepointdisplay,historytrenddisplay,alarmpointsummarydisplayanddynamicanalogprocessdisplayfunctionofDCS.Ifnecessary,thedisplayoperationfunctionofopeningawindowontheflowframecanalsobeselected.
3.4Alarmfunction
ThesystemalarmfunctionofDCSshallbeabletoautomaticallydiagnosethemalfunctionsoccurredinoperationstation,on-sitecontrolstationorcommunicationsystemandsendoutalarmsignals.
TheprocessalarmfunctionofDCSshallbeabletodetecttheabnormalstateoftheproductionprocessanddisplayalarmsignalontheCRTscreen.Forimportantalarmsignalsorsysteminterlocksignals,individualalarmpanelcanalsobeadopted(someDCSsdonothavethealarmpanelstructure).Ifnecessary,audioalarmdevicecanalsobeequipped.
Flashalarminstalledonauxiliaryoperationdeskcanbeadoptedasrequired.
3.5Tablingandprintingfunction
Reportformprinterandreal-timealarmprintershallbeselectedrespectively.
Reportformprinting:
Printingcantakeplaceinrealtimeaccordingtotheformat,contentandprintingperiodofreportformspecifiedbytheenduser,oratanymomentasrequired.
Alarmprinting:
Thetagnumber,timeandalarmoperatingconditionofallthealarmpointsshallbeprintedinrealtime.
3.6Informationmanagementfunction
Externalmemory(suchasdisk,tapedrive)isadoptedtosaveimportantinformationaccordingtotherequirementsofprocessoperationandmanagement.Thetypeandcapacityofexternalmemorycanbedeterminedaccordingtotheamountofinformationtobesaved,thesavingdurationandtheenoughmarginstobeleft.
3.7CommunicationfunctionwithuppercomputerandPLC
DCScanbeaskedtocommunicateinrealtimewithuppersupervisorycontrolcomputertoperformoptimizationcontrolandproductionmanagementfunction,orcommunicatewiththeprogrammablelogiccontrollertoperformcomplexsequentialcontrolandsignalinterlockfunctionasrequired.IftheDCSandtheuppercomputerarenotconfiguredatthesametime,DCScanberequiredtobeequippedw
