英语说课模板(全英文版)
Good morning,everyone!
I hope you will enjoy my speech.My topicis the reading passage Come and Eat Here,which is in unit2book3.Idivide my speech into four parts namely my under- standing of thislesson;teaching theories,methods and aids;teaching procedures andblackboard design.
I.Now let’s start with part1.My understanding of this lesson:
1.At first I’d like to introduce the analysis of the teaching material.This lesson is a reading passage.It plays a very important part in theEnglish teaching of this unit and in the whole senior middle schoolEnglish,because we should lay particular emphasis on the students’reading ability.It focuses on the students' abilities to gather information;deal with information;solve problems and the abilities to think andexpress in English.By studying the lesson,the students can improve theirreading ability;learn more about a balanced diet and nutrition.At thesame time,we should get the students to understand some difficultsentences to comprehend the passage better.The students should do somelistening,speaking,reading and writing,too.Of course,the studentsshould receive some moral education.
2.Now I’ll talk about my teaching aims of this periodThe knowledge aims of this period are to enable the students tomaster some useful words and expressions and by the end of the lesson,the students will have a better understanding of the meaning and structureof the text.
And developing the students reading ability by fast reading andintensive reading and let them learn different reading skills are the abilityaims.
For motional aims I’ll stimulate the students’ sense to form a healthyeating habit and develop the students’ sense of cooperative learning.3.In my opinion the teaching important points in this period is howto improve the student’s reading ability.
The teaching difficult points for the students are how to understandthe text better and how to use the learned phrases and sentences to retellthe text.
II.Now let’s focus on the second part about my teachingtheories,methods and aids:
Before the lesson,we should keep in mind something about students.In my class some students have known something about the topic,because they have talked about it in the previous period ---warming upand speaking.But some long sentences are difficult for them tounderstand.They don’t often use English to express themselves andcommunicate with others.Some students are not active in the classbecause they are afraid of making mistakes.So during the lesson,Iarrange a variety of activities to let all of them join in to attract theirinterest and let them be confident and taste the joy of success.When I deal with this lesson,I’ll do my best to carry out the theoriesof the new curriculum,such as task-based teaching and learning;cooperative learning and interactive approach;make the students the realmasters in class while I,the teacher acts as director;combine thelanguage structures with the language functions and let the studentsreceive some moral education while they are learning the Englishlanguage.
And I will adopt fast reading to get a general idea of the text andcareful reading to get the detailed information;pair or group work to getevery student to be active in class;question-and-answer activity teachingmethod and free discussion method to make the students smooth away thedifficulties,and retelling to sum up the whole period.I’ll make full of modern equipment such as the multi-media and taperecorder to make the class more lively and interesting.With the help ofthe computer and courseware,I think the efficiency of the class will begreatly improved.
III.Here comes the most important part,the teaching
procedures:
I have designed the following steps to train the students’ ability oflistening,speaking,reading and writing,especially reading ability.Step1.Revision
As it is the second period of this unit,I’ll first check the students’homework and then get a student to tell the class what a healthy dietcontains.Thus I can offer a chance for the students to review the contentin the first period.
Step2.Lead-in
I will lead in the topic of the unit by showing the students a shortfilm about healthy eating,in which a fat man and a thin man are eatingdifferent kind of diet,and they are both unhealthy.And then discuss thefollowing questions to lead in the topic:
What kind of food does each man like?
Are they healthy?
Why?
Through this activity I can arouse the students’ interest of study andbring in new subject.
Step3.Prediction for reading
I’ll get the students to look at the title and the pictures and guesswhat the text might be about.It draw the students’ attention to the containof the text..
Step4.Fast reading
Ask the students to read the passage quickly and get the main ideaand the structure of text.Guide the students to find out key words andsentences or pay attention to the first sentences of each paragraph to getthe main idea and the structure of the text.
