Chapter1
Grapewasthemostpopularfruitinthesnailfamily,butfewsnailshadeatenthebigandsweetgrapes.
LittleTonywastheonewhocrawledslowerthananyoneelseinhisfamily.
Hismomhadgotillforalongtime,hismomalwaysexclaimedthenameofgrapewhileshewassleeping.Therefore,littleTonyconsideredthathismomwantedtoeatthedeliciousgrapes.Nevertheless,hismomneverevertalkedaboutitwithlittleTony.
Asaresult,thelittleTonylayonthegrass,consideringthemethodtogetgrapes.Soon,everyoneknewhisthought
Somesnailslookeddownuponhim,andsneeringlysaid“youaretheslowestsnailinourfamily,it’simpossibletogetgrapes.”
ButlittleTonynevergiveup,thenhesetout.
Chapter2
WhenlittleTonystoodunderthegrapetrellis,hefoundthatgrapeswereunripeandextremelyfarawayfromhim.
Buthewasn’tscared.Hence,hebegantoclimb.Thesunwasshiningfiercely,littleTonyhadbeendrenchedinsweat.
Hesawagroupofantstoclimbtowardhimatthatmoment.
Theheadmostantasked“Whatareyoudoinghere,littleTony?
”
LittleTonysaidproudly“Iwillpickthegrapestomymom.”
Theheadmostantsaid“youarenaiveandyoucrawlslowly,howcanyougetgrapes.Besides,thestormiscoming,you’dbettergohome,now.”
LittleTonydidn’tloseheart,hecontinuedtocrawlupwithoutanywords.
Suddenly,ablastofstrongstormhitlittleTony,heclaspedtightlythegrapetrellis,however,hewasfallenontothegroundinthestorm,hestucktocrawling.Unfortunately,littleTonyfellontothegroundagainandagain.
Chapter3
Whenthesunrose,littleTonysawthedeliciousgrapes,andhetoldhimself“Imustgetthegrapes”inhisheart.ThentheenergeticlittleTonycontinuedtoclimbforthegrapes.
Dayafterday,everymorning,littleTonyraisedhiseyesandlookedtheseveralbunchesofgrapesonhishead.Oneday,hefoundthegrapesbecamepurple.
However,theweatherwashot,hisspeedwasslowerandslower.Hethoughthecouldn’ttouchthegrapesandhemightlethismotherdown.
Thattime,thereweretwocutebirdsflyingaroundhim.Outofcuriosity,onebirdsaid“Hello,littleTony,whatareyoudoing?
”
LittleTonysaid“Dearbirds,mymomissick,andshewantstotastetheripegrapes,soItrymybesttoclimbthetopofthegrapetrellisandgettheripegrapesformymom.”
“Oh,goodboy,nevergiveupandyouwillgettheripegrapes.Allofuswillbeproudofyou.”theotherbirdsaid.
“Thankyou!
”thelittleTonysaid,“Iwillnevergiveup,notonlyformymom,butalsoformyself.”
Then,thelittleTonyclimbedstepbystepeventhoughthesweatwaspouringoffhim.
Chapter4
Thetwobirdscheeredhimon,andlittleTonyscrambledtothegrapetrellisamongtheirencouragement.Afterworkinghard,itseemedthatgrapeswerebesidelittleTony.Hebelievedhecouldpickitsoon,andeveryonewashappyforit.
Suddenly,afoxcameoutandsaidtolittleTony“grapesaremyfavoritefruit,onlycanIeatit,younevereverwanttogetitforyourmom.”
LittleTonywasveryangry,hesaidtothefox“Inevergiveup,Inever!
”
Chapter5
ThenlittleTonywenton,nomatterhowroughitwouldbe.Hebelievedhimself.Nopainsnogains.
Finally,littleTonyarrivedatthetopofgrapetrellis.Atthatmoment,littleTonythoughtthegrapesweresobeautifulthathecouldn’tbelievehiseyes.
However,littleTonywasabouttopickthegrapewhenthedisgustingfoxcameoutagain.Thefoxshookthegrapetrellis,andgotthewholeofgrapes.Seeingthegrapeswererobbed,littleTonyburstintotears.Heyelled“whocantellmehowcanIgetthegrapesformymom.”
Chapter6
Fortunately,thegrapetrellissaid“don’tcry,mydear,theeverythingthatyoudoforyourmomisworth.Iamdeeplymovedbyyou,soIwillpresentyouwiththelastone.Ihopeyourmomrecoverassoonaspossible.”
Then,abigandripegrapeappearedinfrontofthelittleTony.Heappreciatedthegrapetrellisandwenthomehappily.
LittleTonyholdonhisdreamandhisdreamcametrue.Later,allthesnailswereproudofhim,andnobodylookeddownuponhim.
