Maybewe cangetinspiration fromtheAmericaneducation systemandthe comparison ofChineseeducationalsystem,andthen becomeabetter Englishlearners.

ThetypeofeducationinnowadaysChinaischieflyexam-orientededucationwhosecharacteristicisselectingpeoplebasedonthemarkstheygetintheexams.Obviously,thistypeofeducationhasitsdisadvantages.Thefirst,ithasstudentspaytoomuchattentiontomarksbutoverlookthedevelopmentofability.Thesecond,luckplaysanimportantroleinthiskindofeducationandit’sinefficienttoselecttherighttalentedstudents.Moreover,regionalunfairnessalsoexistinnowadayseducation,whichmeansstudentsinsomeareasareeasiertogotoagoodcollegewhilesomeothersaremuchharder.Thoughthesedisadvantagesareknownbypeople,theeducationalreformisdifficulttocarryoutbecauseofactualconditionsinChina.
InAmerica,educationisnotcaseasinChina.Americahasbeenahighlydevelopedcountryforalongtime.TheeducationinAmericahadquiteascalesinceAmericawasformed.Studentswillnotgetthedegreesunlesstheyaccumulateenoughcreditpoints.Moreover,largediscrepanciesalsooccurinthecharacteristicsofeducationbetweenChinaandAmerica.InAmerica,educationhasmorefreedom.Studentshaverightstochoosewhattolearnaccordingtotheirinterests,resultingingreatdiversityinthelessonsfoundupinschools.Americaneducationattachesimportancetodevelopingtheabilityofstudentsbypayattentiontodeveloptheircreativity,confidenceaswellassocialresponsibility.Thus,studentsinAmericaarereckonedtogetabettereducationforall-rounddevelopmentthanstudentsinmanycountries,includingChina.
Insufficienciescannotbeavoidedinbothcountries’educationalstructure.Asyoucanseeabove,Chinesestudentslackcreativeminds,whileAmericanstudentsare,comparativelyspeaking,weakerinbasicknowledge.Theyshouldlearnfromeachothersothattheycanmakeuptheirowndeficiency.Inaword,itisnotpracticaltothoroughlychangethewholestructureofeducationinChina,butitisinspiringtoencouragestudentstothinkwithacreativemindlikeAmericanstudentsdo.

Butthebasic nationalconditions ofourcountryatpresent isrichhumanresources, highquality humancapitalstock isactuallyinsufficient.
