“Thisisaprettyseriouswarningthatwarmertemperaturesarenotgoingtoendlesslyimproveplantgrowth,”coauthorStevenRunning,alsofromtheUniversityofMontana,saidinastatement.“Weseethisasabitofasurprise,andpotentiallysignificantonapolicylevelbecausepreviousinterpretationssuggestedglobalwarmingmightactuallyhelpplantgrowtharoundtheworld,”hesaid.
