Asforelevationofsomefoundationisbelowundergroundwaterlevel,andexcavationisdeep,itisrequiredtostressondewateringfordeepfoundationpitandslopreinforcementtoensurethesafetyconstruction.

Sincethesoilofthesitehasagoodstabilityitself,reinforcementmeasuresneednottobetakenfortheslopeduringexcavation.Theslopecoveredwithcolorbandclothpreventingfromrain.Asfollowingpic.shows:
4.3Steelpile
Toassureconstructionprogress,thefoundationbythesideofBshouldbesupportedwithsteelsheetpiles。
Accordingtothedataofexploration&themanufacturer’s,thetype&layoutoftheteelsheetpilesareasfollows:
Type:

Sitelayoutofthesteelsheetofpilesisaspicture8.1;
Installguidepositioningbracket:
itisinstalledforensuringtheverticalityandlevelofpiles.Theenclosingpurlinsareweldedby2piecesof20#U-steelsintwo-way,andtheheightforInstallingguidepositioningbracketis2.5m,twotheodolitesaresetforcontrollingtheverticality.Whentheinstallationiscompleted,thebeamsofguidepositioningbracketcannotbesunkanddeformedandshallkeepverticalintheprocessofsteelsheetpiling.
Steelsheetpiling:
thesteelsheetpilesshallbeinspectedbeforepiling,verticalfaceshallbeflatandalignment,andlockcatchshallmeetrequirements,andbefixedifnot.Meanwhileclosegroovebottomintipofpileswithgreasepaintedontoittoavoidmudintothelockcatch.
Crawlercraneisusedforpiling,thesteelsheetpileswillbeliftedtotheinsertingpointbycranes,thelock
catchshallbeinalignmentwhenpitchingofpiles,pilecapandhardwoodmatwillbecoveredontopandpilednormally.Inordertoensuretheverticalityofpiles,thepilingshallbeperformedalongwiththeenclosingpurlinsbyusingtwotheodolitesforcontrolling.Whenstartpiling,thelocationanddirectionofthefirstandsecondpiecesofpileshallbeaccurateforthefunctionofguiding,theyshallbemeasuredforeverymeterintotheearth.Whenitreachestheheightofbracket,itshallbefixedbyweldingofsteelplatewithguidepositioningbracket.Afterthat,markthepositionofeachsteelpileonsteelenclosingpurlingsinconvenientofcorrectionatanytime.Ifthepileisinclinedinpiling,steelropewillbeusedforpullingthepiles,pulling,pilingandcorrectionbysteps.Whenthefirstrowpilingfinished,andbepiledtothedesigneddepthbysecondtime.
4.4DrainageofFoundationPit
Watercollectionanddrainagebyditchesaretakenforfoundationpitdrainage,seefoundationpitdrainagedrawingforthedrainagefacilities.
Bagscoveredwithplasticfilmonthetopofslopeareusedforstopwatertopreventoutsidewaterfromflowingintothepit.Thebagsshallbestackedcloselywiththegapfilledbyclayeysoil.
Widthof300mmditcharesetatthepositionof600mmhigherthepitbottom,thedepthofditchatslopestartingpointis300mmandthegradientisin0.1%.600mm×600mmwatercollectionpitsaresetalongwiththeditch,thedistancebetweentwopitsisnomorethan30m.Thedepthofwatercollectionpitis500mmdeeperthantheditch.Andthewaterinthepitwillbepumpedoutside.

4.5FoundationPitMonitoring
Inordertoensuretheconstructionsafety,displacementandsettlementforsteelsheetpileshallbemonitoredintheperiodoffoundationexcavationandusing.
Thelayoutofmonitoringpoints:
onemonitoringpointissetonthemiddlesteelsheetpile,whichbothsidesof12mand24mawayarealsosetmonitoringpoints,thetotalquantityIs5,seeattachment8.3formonitoringpointslayout.
Methodofmonitoringpoints:
whentheconstructionofsteelsheetpilingiscompleted,onesmallholeonthetopofpiledrilledbynailisconsideredasthemonitoringpointfordisplacementandsettlement.
Monitoring:
Theinitialvalueshallbemeasuredinthe12hafterthecompletionoffoundationpitexcavation;Andinthe3daysaftertheinitialvaluemeasured,itshallbemeasuredonceineachday;andafterthatonceoneweek.
