情态动词must:
情态动词must常常用来表示不可逃避的业务(itisnecessary),这种业务在说话人看来是没有余地的不容回避的业务.

Hesaidthathemustleaveearly.
Wemustleaveearlytomorrow.
Must可以用haveto,havegotto来代替,但haveto可以与不同时态连用,而must只有一种时态变化.

Ishallhavetoleavenow.
在过去式的句子中,要用hadto表示必须.
eg.Shehadtogoshoppingyesterday.
must与haveto和havegotto一般可以互换,但在表示必须这个意思时,must着重说明主观看法,而haveto比较强调客观要求.

我必须清理房间.(主观想法)
Ihavetotidyuptheroom.
我必需要清理房间.(客观需要)。
Must可用来表示推测,只有在肯定句中能这样用,这种推测比may表示的要肯定得多.

他肯定是个沙子.

她肯定四十多岁了.
