analysisoftheteachingmaterial,analysisofthestudents,teachingandstudymethods,theteachingprocedures,theblackboarddesign,andself-assessment.1.Thislessonisareadingpassage,whichplaysaveryimportantroleinthisunit,weshouldlayparticularemphasisonthestudents’readingability.Itfocusesonthestudents’abilitiestogatherinformation;dealwithinformation;solveproblemsandtheabilitiestothinkandexpressinEnglish.BystudyingAtthesametime,weshouldgetthestudentstounderstandsomedifficultsentencestocomprehendthepassagebetter.Thestudentswilldosomelistening,speaking,readingandwriting,too.

Accordingtothenewcurriculumstandard,theteachingaimsaredividedinto3parts:

Bydoingthis,Iwilltrainthestudents’fastreadingskillstoimprovethestudents’readingabilityandletthestudentsunderstandthegeneralideaofeachparagraph.
Task2:
Intensivereading
Thestudentsarerequiredtofocusonthewholetextparagraphbyparagraphtolocateparticularinformationandfinishtheexercisesonthescreen.
Theseexercisesaremainlysentencejudgments,choicesaboutthetext.Theyaredesignedfromtheeasiestonetothemostdifficultonefordifferentlevels’Ss.Thepurposeistotrainthestudents’skillsofscanningandtoleadthestudentstofindouttheimportantfactsanddetailedinformation.
I’llaskthestudentstofinishtheexercisesbycooperationandcompetition.Theyaredividedinto4groups.Ifastudentcananswerthequestioncorrectly,thenthegroupcangetonepoint.Andthegroupwhichgetsthemostpointsisthewinner.OnlythroughcooperationcantheSstastethejoyofsuccess.IftheSsknowtheiranswerisright,theywillbeconfidentandbecomemoreenthusiasticinlearningEnglish.Thepurposeistoimprovethestudents’readingcomprehension.Andatthesametimethestudentscanbecomeawareofthehappinessofhelpingeachother.Thusthestudentsreceivesomemoraleducation.
