ThisfilmisaboutstoryoftwowomenThelma&Louise.Whenontheirroadforvocation,LouisekillsabadmanwhotriestothreatentorapeLouise’sbestfriendThelma.Theirjourney,however,turnsintoaflight.Thisisaflight.Itismoreafightagainsttheworldofmanandmale-dominatedsociety.Alongtheway,bothwomenrediscoverthestrengthoftheirfriendshipandsurprisingaspectsoftheirpersonalitiesandself-strengthsinthetryingtimes.

Introduction:
LouiseisworkinginafastfoodrestaurantasawaitressandhassomeproblemswithherboyfriendJimmy,who,asamusician,isalwaysontheroad.ThelmaismarriedtoDarrylwhowantshiswifetobeagoodhousewife.Onedaytheydecidetobreakoutoftheirmonotonouslifeandjumpinthecarandhittheroad.Afterplanningtheirtravel,theystarttheirjourneyhappily.Theirjourney,however,turnsintoaflightwhenLouisekillsamanwhothreatenstorapeThelma.TheydecidetogotoMexico,butsoontheyarehuntedbyAmericanpolice.Thisiswhatthefilmabout.Itisaclassicalfilmaboutfeminism.NowIwanttotalkalittleaboutfeminism.Itinvolvesvariousmovements,theoriesandphilosophieswhichareconcernedwiththeissueofgenderdifference,thatadvocateequalityforwomen,andthatcampaignforwomen'srightsandinterests.Feminismhasthreewaves.Thefirstwavehappensinthe19thtoearly20thcentury.Thefocuspointofthefirstwaveistheequalitybetweenmaleandfemale.Ithighlightsthatmaleandfemalehavenodifferenceincapacityandintelligence.Themostimportantgoalforthistimeistoaskforequalhouseworkandsocialworkandalsoequalpoliticalright.Thesecondwaveisinthe1960sand1970s.Thiswaveistoemphasizenaturaldivisionoflaborandtoeliminateunequalpayforequalworkbetweenmaleandfemale.Thiswaveisalsotoeliminatethelongexistingideathatwomenisjustsubordinatetomen.Thethirdwaveisthe1990stothepresent.Themainideainthiswaveisthatwomenneedself-respect,self-examinationandself-loveandrequestmentoassistwomentogetridofobscurationandsuppresstobeequalwithmen.
