熟练掌握本模块基础的单词||,短语||,句子。
1. …….||, because it allows people to get closer to them.

1)allow作为及物动词||,意为“允许||,准许”||,后接动名词做宾语||,通常不接不定式||,
allow doing sth“允许做某事”
如:
We don’t allow eating in the classroom.我们不准在教师里吃东西。
2)用于被动语态的句子中||,后面可跟不定式(此时的不定式不是宾语||,而是主语补足语) 如:
Passengers are not allowed to smoke.乘客不准吸烟。
3)后接宾语||,跟动词不定式||,allow sb to do sth“允许某人做某事”
如:
My parents don’t allow me to go out at night.我父母不允许我晚上出去。
2.It’s said to think of the pandas and other animals in danger.
想到熊猫和其他濒危动物||,真让人伤心
【解析1】think of“想到||,相处”后面可接名词、动词-ing形式
【辨析】think about与think of 短语 意思 用法
think about 考虑||,想起 可指想起过去发生的事或人||,还可指考虑意见未做的事。
其中about为介词||,后可跟名词、代词、动词-ing形式。
表示“回想”时||,着重指想的过程。
think of 考虑||,想起 着重指一时的情况
He is thinking about a problem.他正在考虑一个问题。
解析2】danger是名词||,意为“危险”。
形容词形式为dangerous

be in danger of….有….的危险 out of danger脱离危险

1.二者用作动词作“制造||,生产”讲时||,可互换使用。

2.make为普通用语||,意为“做||,建造||,生产”||,主语多为人||,有时也可能是生产物品的某个地点。
如:
She made a cake for us.
3.produce为正式用于||,意为“生产||,产生。
制造”||,其主语可以是人||,也可以是物或某个地点。
如:
They produced over 250 cars a week.他们每周生产250多辆汽车。
