但是人类与其它动物在一个很重要的方面存在差异,那就是人类有欲望,而且可以说是无穷无尽、永远无法充分满足的欲望,这些欲望使得他们即便到了天国也无法安静。
蟒蛇在一顿饱餐之后就去睡,直到需要另外一顿时才醒来。
大部分则不会如此。
阿拉伯人曾一度节俭地过着以几颗枣为生的生活,后来夺取了东罗马帝国的大量财富,住在无法想象的豪华宫殿中,他们没有因此而平静下来。
