GRAMMAR
动词-ing形式作主语、宾语
1.动词-ing形式作主语,谓语动词一般用单数形式。
由and连接的多个动词-ing形式作主语,谓语动词常用复数;如果前后动词-ing形式的语义一致,谓语动词一般用单数。
2.动词-ing形式作宾语
①allow,advise,forbid,permit等动词后接动词-ing形式作宾语,但有名词或代词作宾语时,则接不定式作宾语补足语,故这类动词用于被动语态时,应接不定式作主语补足语。
②need,require,want表示主语“需要”,后接动词-ing形式的主动式或不定式的被动式。
③forget,mean,regret,remember,stop等动词后接动词-ing形式与接不定式意义不同。

GRAMMAR
动词-ing形式作表语、定语和宾语补足语
1.一些表示情绪、状态、品质的动词-ing形式可作表语。
2.如果是单个的动词-ing形式作定语,要放在所修饰的名词之前;如果是动词-ing形式短语作定语,则要放在所修饰的名词之后,其作用相当于定语从句。
3.动词-ing形式作宾语补足语,强调动作正在进行。
主要用于以下两类动词后构成宾语补足语:
①表示感觉和状态的动词,如see,hear,feel,smell,watch,find,notice等。
②表示“指使”等意义的动词,如have,set,keep,leave等。
