WesettledinAmericaforseveralyearsexceptmygranddaughterwhostillstudiedinauniversityinKorea.Althoughwedidn’tliveinasumptuoushouse,wedidn’tliveinatackyplace.Oneday,atelephonecallfromKoreatoldmethatIshouldselltheoldhouseIhaveeverlivedandsomeoneintendedtobuyit.Iwasshockedandmadeadecisiontogobacktohavealookatthathouse.IwasanoldwomanbutIwasnotoblivioussoIcoulddoitalone.Mygranddaughterpickedmeupattheairport.[1].Aswearrived,therewasanoldbighousewithitschaosstandinginfrontofus.Mygranddaughterasked:
”Grandma,haveyoueverlivedinthisoldhouse?
”“Yeah,butjustforaperiodoftime.”“Butitlooksstrangeasifamonsterwillshowup.”“IhadthesamefeelingwithyouwhenIsawitforthefirsttime.ThenIwas19yearsoldandasbeautifulasyoulooklikerightnow.”

UntilXu’scomingbrokeupourhappydays,hedrunklotsofbear,destroyinglotsofthingsincludingmyguitarandwantedtotakemeawayandallofthisscenewereseenbyZhexiu.Hebecameangryalthoughhestillcouldn’tspeakaword,hegraspedXu’sbodyandhowled,hishairandfigureturnedlong,hiseyesightbecamesharpandfrightenedinamoment,inotherword,andheturnedtobeawolf.Assoonashenipped,Isaid”please”,thismeansdonotdoanythingbetweenus.Sohestopped,andcalmeddowntolookatmesoftly.Heturnedtobelikeanormalperson.Butmanypeoplesawthescenejustnow.Somepolicecametomyhomeandwantedtotakehimaway.Itookhimoutofthehousefromthebackdoorandsidledacrossthewoods.Iknewthatwewouldseparatefromeachother.ButIsaidyoushouldlistentothem.Iwillgobacktoseeyouandthenwewillmakeabigsnowmantogether.Ok?
