The“artificialleaf”isnotanewconcept.ThefirstartificialleafwasdevelopedmorethanadecadeagobyJohnTtlrner.However,itwasimpracticalforwideruse,asitwascomposedofrare,expensivemetalsandwashighlyunstablewithalifespanofbarelyoneday.
