Atthattime,Ihaddifficultyeveninreadingandwriting,nottomention/letalonespeaking.Naturally,Ifeltverynervouswhenitwasmyturntofacetheinterviews.Theyaskedmesomethingaboutsports,sightseeing,Chineseculture,mypurposeofgoingtoCanadaandsoon.Iwassimplytootensetomakeanysensibleanswer.Infact,Icouldhardlyopenmymouth.Theinterviewlastedabouttenminutes,butitseemedyearstome.Whenitwasover,myshirtwasthoroughlywet.
